Season nine analysis

So, as season nine of SG-1 comes to an end (at least on Sky One) tonight, what are peoples thoughts on how Ben Browder's done. Personally I think he did very well considering what a hard job he had, taking over from one of the most beloved characters is a pretty tough challenge, I mean we all remember what happened to Jonas. Any other thoughts?
