That was a bit strong wasn't it!?
Poor fucking Xander! (and poor fucking little slayer wannabe too by the way). Preacher Mal is just too cool! (although I keep expecting the rest of the crew of Firefly to turn up).
It's been getting progressively downbeat all season. I end up watching Buffy only to get depressed! It struck me in the last episode how this season is sooo not the reason I got into Buffy in the first place. Sure it's more mature and possibly even a little more thoughtful, but you don't have to be depressing to be mature. Well, not much anyway.
