Kin Dza Dza
Arguably, it's the best sci fi comedy ever made and yet it's also the most famous film that nobody has ever heard of! Kin Dza Dza is a giant of science fiction and near the top of all good sci fi movie lists. If you like good, unusual cult sci fi -you need to see this film! 'The Purge' - Possible correction
I recieved this email a couple of weeks ago. I've been wondering if I should change the Aeon Flux review because of it. What do you think?

While nostalgia-browsing for aeon flux stuff I found your site - and it is very good! I just found one small thing that might interest you. I think you misinterpreted the end of the episode 'the purge'. The guardian in the glass tank is not trying to break the glass, but repeatedly doing the move that (I think it was trevor) makes on stage - the switching of the big lever. I think this is some obscure reference whether he is not only being made 'better' by having a guardian, but whether the guardians are actually not benign but have more sinister aims of their own and are more in control than trevor would like.

Submitted by starboi on Sat, 05/06/2004 - 23:58.I just watched this episode again today...and I picked up on the same idea...though I thought the custodian was imitating Aeon when she pushes the lever down to release the giant weight hanging above Bambara and Trevor. I think yours is the correct interpretation, whether or not the custodian is imitating Aeon or Trevor....
