Kin Dza Dza
Arguably, it's the best sci fi comedy ever made and yet it's also the most famous film that nobody has ever heard of! Kin Dza Dza is a giant of science fiction and near the top of all good sci fi movie lists. If you like good, unusual cult sci fi -you need to see this film! What does a Lexx fan watch?
What does the average Lexx fan watch now that Lexx is done and dusted?
Theres nothing else on TV thats like Lexx, no adult warped campy kinky Sci-Fi. So what have you moved onto?

via theBrother BattleStar Galaticia (occassionally) or Stargate via theSpouse.

The only show which is still being produced and liked by me is Stargate SG-1, although it's too naive. The only original idea in it is the Stargate itself, most of the rest is normal klische.

No decent, current sci fi out there at the moment! :(

Reruns of Lexx if he managed to tape any of it or has it on DVD.
In my case, having lost cable-tv to inflation, unpaid debts, and the reshuffling of the sci-fi channel into an unaffordable $40 per month package-deal, nothing but reruns of Star Trek, Stargate, and a mixed-package of various other sci-fi caught on videotape. Oh, and an occassional sci-fi DVD, if lucky enough to find a good deal.
I just bought seasons 7 and 8 of Stargate on DVD, in a 2 for 1 deal, so I'm not too bored. Stargate sure isn't Lexx by a long shot, but it has a few interesting and entertaining episodes now and then.

I've been watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Dr Who, the news (local & National), Discovery Channel, Science Channel & National Geographic channel; I've also been on the comeputer a lot more & watch other shows, such as the Food Network, MLB & others.
Lexxians Unite,

What did I say that out loud?
The only current stuff I've been watching is the Super 14. *shrugs* I seem to be stuck in the land of reruns. Nostalgia rocks!
Sometimes I wonder if it would be cool to go senile for a week. I could experience my DVD collection for the first time.

Submitted by Cesare on Mon, 01/05/2006 - 19:19.Well, this Lexx fan likes to watch Stargate SG1 (when it's on), Red Dwarf, Monty Python's Flying Circus, some british sitcoms... The only series which are now aired in Czech Republic and which I watch regularly are the above mentioned Red Dwarf and MPFC and also (not mentioned yet, but much admired) Nick Park's Creature Comforts.

Full collection of Lexx and Farscape, not to mention Blackadder, Jeeves & Wooster, Father Ted, All Creatures Great and Small, League of Gentlemen (is there such word as Britophile?). As for TV, I'm not sure if morning headline news qualify as scifi... I am hoping to discover some nice juicy suggestion in this threat in order to recover after a paralyzing encounter with Aeon Flux the movie two days ago.

I loved those.
Not as good as Fool and Horses though.

Submitted by hishadow on Fri, 20/10/2006 - 03:36.Battlestar Galactica and Doctor Who remake I think are very nice. :) Else I stumbled upon some rare mini-series that I found worth watching (though not all are pure sci-fi): Neverwhere, Total Recall 2070, V, The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy (old bbc thing) and Ultraviolet.
What I miss the most from other shows is the boldness and uniqueness that I felt the Lexx series gave its viewers. The only other tv-show I've watched that might have similarities to it is the old mini-series Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy from BBC and to an extent the remake of Doctor Who.
Looking up some of the old crew for Lexx on IMDB reveals they're not that active more. Maybe it's time for them to return to the Lexx series? *grin*
