Oookay, this is not sci-fi...

but I loooove the PBS show Frontline.... so I downloaded the handy-dandy show of Bush's War Part 1 and 2.

I totally have to lift this guys phrase from that... i didn't get his name but he was talking about Tennant from the CIA and if i can remember it right; "The problem in this situation ....(which happened to be about the reports about  WMD in Iraq which were basically, in this show, trumped up remarks that supported going to war ;you know banged the war drum at the right pitch) ....as in real life that he (Tennant) traded integrity for access."

Sounds like the sci-fi BSG regular BB poster or anyone favored by admins in their regime...

And me, I'm proud that I didn't pay by The okay rules because it created a whole other dynamic that now until BSG  ends will drain true discussion right off that board; you'll have patches in episodic threads but there is way too much splinter groupies to pull them together to save a spin-off Caprica let alone ending this sucka in the black.

Divide and conquer that backfires.

D'OH!

More sci-fi/ not sci-fi....

Okay, so they begin casting for Caprica and don't get me wrong I am still making my way through Deadwood from HBO., but leave it to men to look the the acting of Trixie the whore. She was good and tough but not the real wild card of Deadwood.

The goodies and baddies hmph... though the Montana law man was eye-candy galore with some good principles. However the dark horse is the Doc. Brad Dourif, whaaaaa; a bad guy from horror Chuckie movies for years and the Lord of the Ring Two Towers wizard, but man he rocks this role, he gets to be a  post- Civil War Dr. Frankenstein alcoholic who dances with the  handicapped girl whom he built a brace for; he tends to the whores for their troubles and equally dispensed the happy juice or Trixie's tea.  Or drives a rod up  ahem  a male part to get a  kidney stone out.

I just think he was phenom in this role

Love that Dr. man in this; so many more layers and Dourif is not sooo strange as to creep me out and he plays them excellently.
